Arabic Ad Dubbing
Arabic ad dubbing for the Gulf, Levant and North Africa
We convert your existing ad film into broadcast-ready Arabic, in Modern Standard Arabic or the dialect your media plan calls for. The original talent appears to speak Arabic in their own voice, lip movement is re-animated to the new dialogue, and native speakers review every cut before broadcast-standards delivery.
The Arabic market
Arabic reaches more than 400 million speakers across the Gulf, Levant, Egypt and North Africa, with the GCC among the world's highest ad-spend-per-capita regions. The language's defining feature for advertisers is diglossia: audiences read and hear Modern Standard Arabic in formal media while speaking regional dialects in daily life, and the choice between them shapes how a campaign lands.
Dialect and register
Modern Standard Arabic carries pan-Arab authority and suits prestige and institutional tones. Egyptian Arabic brings warmth and reach through decades of film and television. Gulf dialects signal local belonging in Saudi and Emirati campaigns, and Levantine sits between. We advise on the choice per campaign and cast natively for whichever register wins.
Proven pipeline, applied to Arabic
Arabic delivery runs on the pipeline proven across more than 100 broadcast-ready ads and over 500 million views in India's multilingual market, an environment that, like the Arab world, demands one film in many registers under broadcast QC. Right-to-left titling and supers are handled in the finishing pass.
How a version gets made
- Locked master in. You supply the final source edit and tone guidance. No reshoot, no new footage.
- Native performance, cloned voice. A native voice actor performs the adapted dialogue, and a cloned model of the original talent re-voices that performance so the star speaks the language in their own voice.
- Re-animation and broadcast QC. Our Lipsmatch visual dubbing technology re-animates the lip movement frame by frame to the new dialogue, native speakers review every cut, and the film is finished to broadcast standards up to 4K.
FAQ
Should our campaign use Modern Standard Arabic or a dialect?
It depends on the tone and the buy. MSA reads as formal, credible and pan-regional, which suits institutional and prestige campaigns. Dialects read as human and local: Egyptian for warmth and the widest colloquial comprehension, Gulf dialects for Saudi and Emirati belonging. We advise per campaign rather than defaulting.
Can one Arabic version cover the whole region?
An MSA version can air region-wide and is understood everywhere. Campaigns that want emotional closeness in a specific market usually add a dialect version for that market, generated from the same source master at modest incremental cost.
Does lip re-animation work with Arabic's sounds?
Yes. Arabic's emphatic and pharyngeal consonants have distinct visible articulation, and the re-animation is generated from the actual performed audio, so the mouth movement follows what a native speaker really does. Native reviewers check the result before delivery.
Do you handle right-to-left on-screen text as well?
Yes. Supers, titles and end cards are re-set right-to-left with appropriate Arabic typography in the finishing pass, so the delivered film is complete for broadcast, and legal or regulatory supers are matched to each airing market's requirements.
