Privacy Policy
We make AI films, lip-synced commercials, voice work and software, which means people trust us with footage, voices and brand assets that matter. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.
The short version
We never sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. It is not our business model.
Likeness stays with you
Faces and voices are processed only for the project you commission, with consent, and never reused.
We hold what we need
Source material is deleted on a clear schedule once a project wraps, unless you ask us to keep it.
You stay in control
Access, correct or erase your information at any time with a single email to our team.
Who we are
Insanely Elegant ("we", "us", "the Studio") is a remote-first creative and engineering studio. We produce AI ad films, multilingual lip-synced commercials, voice cloning and voice agents, AI product photography and on-model imagery, and we build web platforms and the cloud infrastructure behind them.
This policy describes how we handle personal information across our website at insanelyelegant.com, our enquiry channels, and the projects we deliver for clients. For the work we do on behalf of a client, that client is usually the controller of the underlying material and we act as their processor under a separate services agreement; this policy still tells you how we treat that material in practice.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you, run a project, and keep the studio operating. That falls into three groups.
- Information you give us. Your name, company, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to tell us in a brief, an enquiry form, or an email when you reach out to start a project.
- Information we collect automatically. Basic technical data when you visit the site, such as your approximate region, browser and device type, referring page, and how you move through the pages. This is aggregate and is used to keep the site fast and working.
- Project and billing records. Contracts, proposals, invoices, and the correspondence tied to a commission, kept for accounting and legal reasons.
Project materials and client content
To deliver creative work, you may hand us source footage, photographs, scripts, audio recordings, product files, brand guidelines, and logins to systems we are asked to build on. We treat all of this as confidential and use it for one purpose only: producing and delivering the work you commissioned.
We do not use your project materials to train general-purpose models, we do not add them to any shared dataset, and we do not repurpose them for other clients. Where a project involves fine-tuning a model on your assets, that tuned output is scoped to your project and is not carried across to anyone else.
Faces, voices and likeness
Some of our work involves a person's face or voice, for example lip-syncing a performance into a new language or cloning a voice for dubbing. This is sensitive information and we treat it accordingly.
- We process facial and voice data only with documented consent from the rights-holder or the performer, secured through our client before any work begins.
- We use it strictly to produce the agreed deliverable, and for no other purpose.
- We do not build a reusable likeness or voice model that outlives your project, and we do not licence anyone's likeness to third parties.
- When the project closes, derived models and biometric source data are deleted on the schedule set out below, unless you instruct us in writing to retain them for an agreed follow-on.
Consent is non-negotiable. If we cannot evidence that the person whose face or voice is involved has agreed to the work, we will not proceed. Read more in our Terms & Conditions.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your enquiry and scope a possible project.
- Produce, revise and deliver the creative or software work you commission.
- Manage contracts, raise invoices, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- Keep the website secure, measure its performance, and improve our services.
- Send occasional, relevant updates where you have asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
Our lawful bases for processing are, depending on the context, your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the studio, and compliance with the law.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file a website can store on your device. We keep our use of them light. We use essential cookies to remember your appearance preference, such as light or dark mode, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful in aggregate.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build cross-site profiles of you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though small preferences may not be remembered.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, storage, email and accounting tools, bound by confidentiality and permitted to use the data only on our instructions.
- AI model and infrastructure vendors used to render specific parts of a project, covered in the next section.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants or lawyers, where genuinely needed.
- Authorities where we are legally required to disclose, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor in the event of a merger or acquisition, under the same protections described here.
AI models and infrastructure
Producing this work relies on a stack of specialist models for image generation, video synthesis, speech and voice, plus GPU compute and storage. We send only the data each step needs, and we choose vendors with care.
Where we can, we prefer providers whose terms commit them not to train on the content we send. We keep our specific toolchain confidential and tailor it per project rather than locking you to any one platform. If you have particular requirements about which providers may or may not touch your material, tell us before we begin and we will design the pipeline around it.
Data retention
We do not keep things longer than we need to.
- Project source material (raw footage, recordings, biometric and likeness data) is deleted within 90 days of final delivery, unless you ask us in writing to retain it for revisions or a follow-on project.
- Final deliverables are archived for a limited period so we can re-supply them if you lose a copy, then removed.
- Enquiries that do not become projects are cleared periodically.
- Contracts and invoices are kept for as long as tax and company law require.
International transfers
We are remote-first and work with clients and vendors around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When we move personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism, so it stays protected to the standard described in this policy.
How we protect your data
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls limited to the people working on your project, secured storage, and the principle of holding the least we need for the shortest time. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal data we will act quickly to contain it and notify you and any regulator where the law requires.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have rights over your personal information. These can include the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to erase your data, where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law allows, usually much sooner.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a project legitimately involves a minor's likeness, it proceeds only with verified parental or guardian consent, secured through our client. If you believe a child's data has reached us without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site and our work may link to other websites and platforms we do not control, such as social networks or partner sites. This policy does not cover them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit through one of our links.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, the law, or our tools evolve. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will give clearer notice. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
